Wish You Were Here

Yesterday Priscilla drove me and Emma to Portsmouth. A town on the coast of New Hampshire. We hung out on the beach then went into the town. It was an amazing day. But it made me think of everyone at home. I wish you were here, so i could share these amazing things with you.

I love you and i miss you all xxxxxx

Richard - The King of Bad Photos

I feel the title says it all. If you think i took bad photos, you ain't seen nothing yet! Our favourite Richard always manages to get the most awful pictures ever imaginable of us lot. Now, Helen and Emma won't be impressed but i have to show you all the torture we go through... seriously, i can't even enjoy my hot chocolate without being attacked by a camera!!!!

And can we ever get a REALLY bad picture of him.... nope.

Pumpkinsssssss

Emma and Helen have already discussed all about the Pumpkin-ness of this weekend. What can i say apart from that it was 'wicked cool' fun :)

On a more personal note, i finally got myself an 'A' grade. I'm so happy and proud of it. I actually attempted taking a picture of it but i couldn't get the picture to turn out quite right! Yup that happened on Thursday which was pretty good day as i got my A and the West Indies beat Australia in the cricket. And watched two Bond films in class.... easy, easy!

The 'Go' Team

Yesturday the International Team finally made the hike/rock climb up the mountain. It really was a wicked cool day, and i am proud to say i was the third person to reach the sumit. Yes i raced my way up there as easy as pie (yup it's true), i'm quite the rock climber, you should have seen me go! The first five of us (Myself, Helen, Amy, Go and a chap whose name i can't remember), we aptly called ourselves the 'Go Team' as 'Go' (International Friends group leader) was our leader and took us up there at super spead.

Going down we were even faster, and i did not almost twist my ankle about 5 billion times. Yes walking down rocks and mini waterfalls may have been a problem for others but for the super speedy first five down (me, helen, cat, lucas and cindy) it caused no problems. We slid down that mountain in just under an hour!

Today i am not in pain. My thighs don't hurt a bit and my arms feel like they usually do. A walk to Walmart is of no problem.

Check out these pictures.

Where Everybody Knows Your Name!

Yes, Yes i finally made it to Boston. Folks at home, you know how much i've always wanted to visit Boston and New York. Well i made it! It really is such a beautiful city i'd recommend anyone to go there!

So our day kicked off rather early. At 8am Gill picked us up from Keene state and drove us all the way down to Boston. He drove us past Harvard University, which i was particularily excitied... because well it's Harvard! It is a stunning place!

At 10.30 ish we arrived in Boston. Gill dropped us off at the Museum of Science where we boarded a Duck Boat. Yup a Duck Boat. These things drive not only through the city but through the River Charles as well! We had a wicked cool time on that thing. We had a crazy driver called Penny who was a lot of fun. She even let Helen drive the Duck Boat (a priveledge only for those under the age of 10!).

When we got off the Boat, we walked our way into central Boston. Helen gave the directions. We didn't get lost, not even a little! Wanna know why? Because Helen stepped into the map?! It really works! So we walked our way around Boston, passing some of the attractions we past on the boat. We did make sure we had our picture taken at the 'Cheers' bar because that is where everyone knows your name! Unfortunately Ted Danson was not working there that day! Maybe next time ay?

There is not much more i can elaborate on. We walked around the park and around Boston central and had a wonderful. Sorry mother if you want more details but there are no other words! It was amazing, it was beautiful. Someday i will return!

A post for Andy

This post is not about Andy. But he wanted a mention so he has gotten one!

Yesturday we had quite an eventful time at the DC. Helen had bought some funky stuff from Shaws, where a you out a tablet type thing into some hot water and it expands into a foam type animal. My describing skills aren't the best but it caused some amusement for us!

Here are Helen and Sarah, sitting, wishing, waiting for the tablet to expand in the water.

Emmas camel coming into form.

And my "Zebra" fully formed!

Helen posing with her Lion.

After the exciting events in the DC. Me, Emma, Rich, Lindsey, Amy and Sarah all headed ofd to the cinema to see 'The Guardian' it's a new movie staring Kevin Costner and the very fit Ashton Kutcher. The film was good, i enjoyed it untill the very over dramatic 'i won't let go' ending!! Good times, good times.
